Petr Jakl

Petr Jakl is an entrepreneur and filmmaker born in the Czech Republic. Petr set up a strategic partnership with ZQ Entertainment, the production company run by producer and former CAA agent Ara Keshishian. ZQ’s first projects include the John Grisham book CALICO JOE which is being adapted by George Clooney and Grant Heslov and starring Clooney.

They are also in partnership with Anonymous Content on the upcoming bookTHE DEVIL’S PLAYBOOK or a TV series based on fantasy novels written by Stephen R. Donaldson THE CHRONCLES OF THOMAS COVENANT directed by Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace, World War Z). Other projects include the war movie BLACK COTTON STAR with producer Reginald Hudlin (Django), a TV series with Simon Kinbergand Stephen King based on King’s short story OBIT, Susanne Bier’s next film THE BEIRUT SPY, as well as two horror movies and one superhero film from the legendary Stan Lee called CARNIVAL OF KILLERS, SAWBONES, and B-TEAM.

Petr is also producing a new film by Sasha Baron Cohen and all development projects of Film Nation (The King’s Speech) whose films received 9 Oscars, 13 Baftas, and 6 Golden Globes.

ZQ ENTERTAINMENT

ZQ ENTERTAINMENT is a development and production company founded by former CAA agent and producer Ara Keshishian. ZQ’s first projects includethe John Grisham book CALICO JOE that is being adapted by George Clooney and Grant Heslov for Clooney to direct.

They are also in partnership withAnonymous Content on the upcoming book THE DEVIL’S PLAYBOOK, currently being written by former Bloomberg reporter Lauren Etter, about the rise andfall of the Juu vaping company.

Other projects include GOD’S COUNTRY with producer Matt Reeves, and they are in development on a TV series with SimonKinberg and Stephen King based on King’s short story OBITS.

BAZELEVS

Bazelevs is a US-based production company founded by Hollywood director and producer Timur Bekmambetov. The company has been producing films such as Night Watch, Day Watch, Wanted, The Darkest Hour, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Hardcore Henry.

The company was involved in producing the animated film 9, which was nominated for Best Animated Film in 2010 at the Producers Guild of America Awards 2009.In the summer of 2010 in Moscow, they filmed the Russo-American projects The Darkest Hour, in cooperation with 20th Century Fox, New Regency, Summit Entertainment and Kikoriki.

Team Invincible in cooperation with Columbia Pictures, in the United States with Bekmambetov as a producer.In 2015, the company have since released films in a new format titled "Screenlife" which each film is shot in the point-of-view of computer screens and smartphones.

The first couple films released in that genre are Unfriended, Unfriended: Dark Web, Searching and Profile.

With over $300 billion to be spent in content annually, Hammerstone is a high-end content creator with a track record of delivering premium content with A-list talent.

THE AVENUE & HIGHLAND

Led by founding partners Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier, Highland Film Group (HFG) is an independent worldwide sales, film financing, production and distribution company. Launched in 2010, HFG has had success across a wide range of film genres and platforms, building a reputation for handling high-octane films in the action/thriller/horror space, focusing on cast, director, and filmmaker driven content.

Launched in 2020, The Avenue is HFG’s US distribution division and handles all aspects of distribution, from theatrical through home entertainment to television/SVOD.

The Avenue is dedicated to partnering with filmmakers and leading them into innovative ways of marketing and distribution so their stories can reach the widest audience. The Avenue has a partnership with Paramount Home Entertainment to handle Blu-ray™, DVD, VOD, and Digital distribution.

Films released under The Avenue label are a combination of film titles from Highland Film Group as well as third party acquisitions.

PFX

A full-service post-production studio located in the heart of Europe. With four branches and over 150 talented artists, PFX has been providing world-class services to film, television, animated content and advertising creators for over a decade.

PFX collaborates on projects that are either in development, currently in production, or have already been completed. PFX team infuses every project with creativity and innovation, striving to deliver the best possible results.

Soundsquare

Soundsquare was founded in 2001 as a premium sound post-production company in the very centre of Prague in an architecturally prized functionalist building with interior design by Olgoj Chorchoj. It prides itself on its client-oriented service, excellent environment for clients and its selection of speciality coffee.

However, Soundsquare is not only sound studios. Soundsquare enters film projects as coproducers; the sister company, Soundsquare Rentals, is ensuring sound recording for location shooting of films and commercials and our label, Soundsquare Music, occasionally publishes the work of original music bands.

Soundsquare  likes to participate in any interesting projects that at least a bit help to improve the life on our fragile planet.

Soundsquare's work include more than 100 Feature films and several hundred of TV episodes, many of them for international clients like HBO, Canal+, NBC, MGM, Sky TV.
